The MCI is seeking to appoint a Research Associate to work on a research project titled "The Political Psychology of China and Globalisation"
The Manchester China Institute (MCI) is seeking to appoint a Research Associate with research experience and interest in political psychology to work on a research project titled “The Political Psychology of China and Globalisation” led by Professor Peter Gries.
The project builds on Professor Gries' 10 year research work on applied/social political psychology in West-China relations and advanced knowledge of related theories and literature as well as research methods is essential.
You will be based in the Lee Kai Hung Postdoctoral College at the MCI working both independently and with academic colleagues from the MCI and other institutes and departments.
You will have a PhD or equivalent qualification (completed or near completion) in psychology or politics, demonstrable ability to publish in leading academic journals and strong quantitative skills.
