UK-China Student Dialogue Award
A smartphone video-based contest for University of Manchester students
The University of Manchester continues to be the proud home of thousands of international students and a vibrant international community of creative minds.
The Manchester China Institute (MCI), in partnership with Creative Manchester at the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures, has launched the first UK-China art competition at The University of Manchester.
The competition is themed around 'Friendship across cultures – UK & China' and takes place between Saturday 17 November and Tuesday 11 December 2018 on Twitter and Instagram.
How to enter
To enter the competition, all you need to do is tweet or post on Instagram a video of up to two minutes long with the hashtag #studentdialogue2018 by 11 December 2018.
The competition will be judged by internationally recognized experts:
- Zoe Dunbar - Director, Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art
- Dr Ian Scott - Director for Social Responsibility and Internationalisation, School of Arts, Languages and Cultures, University of Manchester
- Dr Felicia Chan - Senior Lecturer in Screen Studies, School of Arts, Languages and Cultures, University of Manchester
