Faculty and staff at the Manchester China Institute are profoundly saddened by the passing of Dr Lee Kai Hung. Dr Lee’s vision, generosity and unwavering belief in the value of cultural exchange were fundamental to the creation of the Manchester China Institute. His dedication to fostering mutual understanding laid the groundwork for all that we do and continues to guide our mission today.
We honour Dr Lee’s remarkable legacy. His commitment to dialogue, collaboration and shared humanity remains at the heart of our work and the Institute stands steadfast in its dedication to nurturing meaningful connections for generations to come.
