MCI hosts public research talks, book releases, and both scholarly and community roundtables at the Portico Library in the heart of Manchester, close to Chinatown. Faculty affiliates also write editorials to engage the public online.

ROUNDTABLE: Manchester's Changing Chinese Community

Events in Hong Kong reverberate here in Manchester, with an influx of BNO immigrants.

On October 1, 2024, MCI gathered leaders of Manchester’s Chinese community for a roundtable discussion of challenges and opportunities facing Manchester’s growing and evolving Chinese community.
