MCI promotes excellence in research on China across the Humanities at the University of Manchester. It provides limited funding to support this goal, including for our research faculty to conduct research and write research grant applications. It also provides limited funds for visiting research scholars in residence, and student travel between the UK and the Chinese speaking world.
